Quiet Week but More Strength in Non-Mega Cap Continues
The S&P 500 finished the holiday shortened week up 1.7% with XLV, XLF, and XLC being the strongest sectors for the week. Tech continues to struggle and is down almost 9% over the last month. Not much changed in the Models this week, Risk Appetite moved just one point and Maestro remains positive. Breadth data has continued to improve. Last week I looked at 3-month new highs, this week I look show continued expansion in the other parts of the market that aren’t just the Mag 7.
